The oral surgeon Panagiotis Sennis is a graduate of the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After taking special exams and preparatory courses, Dr Sennis completed his specialization in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, USA. In 1997, he laso graduated from the Military School Corps Officers with the rank of Ensign in the Navy. During his military service he received - i.e. in 1992 - diploma from the Officers Military Academy for "excellence in moral and military skills".
Ever since, he has attended numerous courses and seminars in Athens Naval Hospital. Moreover he has worked at the clinics and laboratories of the departments: Internal Medicine, Microbiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Dermatology, Hematology and Microbiology. In 1998 he took on the mannship of the dental warship "ARIS" during educational school trip of the U.S. Naval Academy. From 1999 to 2001 he was an assistant in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Naval Hospital .
During 1999 to 2001, he has attended and participated in numerous scientific conferences of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery; in 2001 he received a commendation from the Organizing Committee of the 5th Congress of Medical multidisciplinary Athens Naval Hospital for "Computerisation Maxillofacial Department SSE ".
In 2001, Dr Sennis entered the University Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas , USA for the qualification certificate of "Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery". During his specialization, acquired clinical experience and served as intern in medical centers such as Baylor University Medical Center, Medical City Hospital and Southwestern University Medical Center - Parkland Memorial Hospital. In 2005, he received his "Certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery" from the University Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, USA. Returning to Greece, in 2005, received the title of Curator B' at the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dept, Athens Naval Hospital until 2008 that he was promoted to Editor A ' by 2012. Nowadays, he has been the Director of the department.
During all these years, to date, Dr Sennis has developed extensive academic activity with numerous participations to conferences and publications, in national and international level.
